For Immediate Release:
Bleed Electric lives outside of time — fusing hip hop, electronica, rock, metal, and pop culture into a sound that refuses to fit in. The group states, “We are not a band. We are an experiment, a prophecy, a cinematic vision. Every song is a fragment of a larger story. Every release, a transmission from a future envisioned long before its moment. We don’t follow trends; we carve them into the fabric of what comes next. We don’t chase relevance; we embody it. We call our sound ‘Future Fresh.’ And the future has arrived.”
The NYC-based project has re-emerged on the scene after their music was mysteriously wiped from streaming platforms, deleted with no explanation. For years, Bleed Electric’s work survived only in fragments, memories, physical media and rumors. On October 31, 2012, Bleed Electric originally released This Is My Masterpiece — their most refined and complete work, an EP that crystallized what they called their “Future Fresh” sound: a fearless fusion of electro, hip hop, R&B, glitch, rock, metal and cinematic orchestration. Critics hailed it as eclectic, genre-defying, and unapologetically experimental. And then, without warning, it was gone.

“An eclectic work of art that unapologetically defies genre norms and burns with a sonic passion that could only be expressed through the unification of different music styles.” – EQ Music
“Bleed Electric dips into several generations of influences to create a unique blend of euro electronic music and takes a unique look at modern hip-hop.” -Absolute Punk
Now, thirteen years later to the day, the music returns on October 31, 2025, re-introducing This is My Masterpiece back for all to hear. Every previous Bleed Electric EP will be reissued in reverse order, on the exact date it was first released, tracing the story backwards until it reaches the band’s unreleased debut album, The Butterfly Effect. As the cycle rewinds, the sound becomes gnarlier, dirtier, and louder, peeling back the refinement of This is My Masterpiece toward raw, cinematic beginnings.
Produced and directed by MUG5 — creative director, pioneer, and founder of New York Creative Agency RIOT — Bleed Electric represents a decade-long experiment in Future Fresh and cinematic storytelling. MUG5 has directed campaigns and productions for global brands while continuing to pioneer experimental work in music, art, photography and film.
In addition to the re-release, every track on This Is My Masterpiece is accompanied by a custom artwork piece created by MUG5. Each design is a visual transmission of the band’s Future Fresh ethos. These works serve as both standalone art pieces and as part of the larger visual narrative that will continue as the catalog is unveiled in reverse.
This is not nostalgia. This is resurrection. Bleed Electric is manifesting again, this time in reverse. Stay tuned as Bleed Electric delivers a discography for a new generation of listeners.
